Brand New Bag Techniques Using "In the Hoop" Embroidery Designs

This vintage Down Town Tote bag would be a stylish addition to your wardrobe or make for an excellent gift - it can be made in the 6x10, 7x11 and 8x12 hoop sizes.

Finished dimensions of completed bag (approx.):

• 6x10 – 32cm W x 22cm H x 12cm D (12.5” x 8.5” x 4.5”)

• 7x11 – 33cm W x 22cm H x 12cm D (13” x 8.5” x 4.5”)
• 8x12 – 35cm W x 25cm H x 13cm D (14” x 10” x 5”)

We used our very own Sweet Pea zipper in Black/Metal and Black/Pink for this bag.

Full photo instructions are included with this design, this covers how to create the individual blocks as well as outlines how to assemble the bag.

There is a fair bit of machine sewing required and we recommend you are of an intermediate level.

This versatile vintage tote bag can be made in 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, and 8x8 size hoops, perfect as a lunch box, cosmetic bag, or embroidery storage!

• 4x4 - 20cm x 17cm x 10cm (8” x 6 ½” x 4“)
• 5x5 - 25cm x 21cm x 13cm (10” x 8 ½” x 5”)
• 6x6 - 30cm x 27cm x 15cm (12” x 10 ½” x 6“)
• 7x7 - 35cm x 32cm x 18cm (14” x 12 ½” x 7“)
• 8x8 - 41cm x 35cm x 20cm (16” x 14 ½” x 8“)

There are two lid styles, with a total of 14 blocks required (7 repeated), plus lining. Our sample bag was made using 5x5 hoops.
